How to install V14.0.4.0.TCUMIXM

Recovery ROM (recommended, keeps data)

  1. Back up your important data and charge the phone to at least 50%.
  2. Download the Recovery ROM above on your Redmi Note 8 (2021).
  3. Open Settings → About phone and tap the MIUI version card.
  4. Tap the ⋮ menu → Choose update package and select the downloaded .zip file.

  5. Click Flash and wait until the tool shows success; the phone reboots automatically.
